Hi Michel Sir,

It means Data Guard can not configured in Oracle 9i.

How can i make my Primary DB in dataguard as i read in oracle documentation that the first step to make primary database is to issue that command "alter database force logging".

Is there any other syntax that substitute it in Oracle 9i.

Thanks
Roshan,

Then why v$archived_log(...standby_dest,archived,applied...) view exits in Oracle 9i.

or ,

why this documentation is published by Oracle Corporation.

Oracle Data Guard
Concepts and Administration
Release 2 (9.2)
October 2002
Part No. A96653-02

Roshan.
