i have Oracle 10g data gaurd set up on windows envionment.....i need to know the what are the right steps to perform failover in case the primary database gets fail.

please help...

Hello .....

i went thru the steps you mentioned for the Oracle 10g Data Gaurd, failover ....i have a same setup on windows OS....i am told to do a faileover operation on my production database but before doing the steps you mentioned i just want to clear is there any more things to do ...before and after the given steps...
