I am building an application using Oracle Forms 6.0 for the end-users to change their Oracle Passwords without learning how to use SQL Plus and SQL Scripts.
In WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE, I call LOGON_SCREEN function then Get_Application_Property, LOGON(un,pd||'@'||conStr), then check for FORM_SUCCESS
The Log-On trigger is set to 'null' to skip the logon procedure.
1. If the password is about to EXPIRED(GRACE) but still within the grace period, I get the error message "ORA-24324 service handle not initialzed' and does not allow me to logon.
2. If the password is EXPIRED, I get the error message "ORA-28001 password expired" which is great!
3. If the password is OPEN, I am in the logon_screen loop.
I need help on fixing problem number 1 and 3 or have anyone have done this before?
