I have a form, when button pressed trigger with the code entered below
HOST('START IEXPLORE HTTP://INTRANET02/HSS/CAREFIRST');

This works fine on a windows NT machine but will not work on windows 2000 professional. I have looked at the setup on both PC's but cannot work out why explore will not start. It does start the command prompt and then closes without starting explorer.

Any Help Appreciated

Hi,
It seems that it fails to find the IE on the desired location.
Check at what location IE executable is placed in both of the M/C.

HTH

I have just started to look at bugs on metalink and came across the exact problem. There did not seem to be a work around but later releases fixed the problem. I requested a TAR so that I get the correct patch level to bring the forms 6i from 6.0.8.14.1 to 6.0.8.19.0.

Thanks to all that replied
