Hi All,

I'm new to forms 9i.I want to show a tool tip message for a text
field such that..when the user moves to an item showing empid..the tool tip displays the empname...
would be really helpful if some body could tell me how to go abt it...

From the help (yes, there is a help file!):

TOOLTIP_TEXT Determines the item’s tooltip text.

With SET_ITEM_INSTANCE_PROPERTY you can set it dynamically.
